Understanding the Power of the call

Let’s take a look at some of the Bible Characters who were normal people that God called. And then we’ll go over some key ways God calls us, and use us to achieve our assignment (our Purpose) and how your life qualifies you to walk in the calling (assignment).

Esther was a Jewish queen of the Persian King Ahasuerus. King Ahasuerus seeks a new beautiful wife due to Vashti refusing to obey him. Ester is then chosen for her beauty. (Esther 7:3)

Esther was chosen to be queen because the original queen didn’t want to listen to the king’s command. It was her attitude and way of thinking that held her back and caused her to lose one of the highest positions back in those times, for women.

Recognizing your Value

The favor God gave Ester with the king was not just for her but for her people. She was put into a position that enabled her to be able to deliver her people from death. It was also her obedience and ability to recognize and respect the people who were in authority and leadership over her.

God gives us different qualities that cause us to be put into certain positions that he has called us to. One of the reasons Esther was given favor was because of her beauty (Esther 2:2). No matter the quality you may have it is designed and interwoven in you to give you favor. What is it about you of value that you could be overlooking?

Maybe your quality isn’t beautiful, It could be as a supporter, an encourager, a motivator, or maybe someone who has musical gifting. Whatever the case we all possess something of value. Your value is one of the ways the doors to your favor begins to open. The power of the call on your life coupled with the value within gives you what you need to succeed in your purpose.

One last Thing

You are called to do something amazing that no one can do quite like YOU.  The power of the call gives you the provision needed to achieve and accomplish everything you were intended to before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:4)
